How personal information, learning activity, and account data are handled across the platform.

Last updated: 13 August 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Prolekh handles personal data when you visit our website or use an account, learning workspace, AI-assisted study tools, answer evaluation, practice tests, study materials, audio learning features, payments, or support.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account and profile data: name, contact details, authentication records, profile image, exam target, language and learning preferences.
  • Learning and user content: answers, uploaded pages or documents, test attempts, notes, conversations, feedback, saved materials, generated reports, audio-brief preferences, and progress signals.
  • Plan and transaction data: plan status, orders, invoices, payment references, credits, limits, refunds, and feature usage. Complete card, banking, PIN, password, or OTP details are not requested by Prolekh.
  • Support and technical data: support requests, device and browser information, IP address, session and security logs, cookies, and diagnostic events.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to create and secure accounts; provide and personalize learning services; process uploads, evaluations, AI-assisted responses and audio; manage plans, credits, payments and support; detect misuse; improve quality and reliability; communicate service notices; and comply with applicable law.

4. AI-Assisted Processing

Content you submit may be processed by automated systems to provide the feature you request. Outputs can be incomplete or inaccurate and are learning aids, not official, legal, medical, financial, or professional advice. We use only the information reasonably needed for the requested service and related safety, quality, and support purposes.

5. Sharing and International Processing

We do not sell personal data. We may share limited information with authorized service providers that support managed cloud storage, authentication, communications, payments, analytics, security, customer support, and AI-assisted features; with authorities when lawfully required; or as part of a business reorganization subject to appropriate safeguards. Processing may occur in other locations where our service providers operate, subject to applicable legal requirements and contractual or technical safeguards.

6. Retention and Security

We retain personal data only as long as reasonably necessary for the service, account history, legal or financial records, dispute resolution, security, and legitimate operational needs. Different records have different retention periods. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, updating, erasure, withdrawal of consent, or grievance review. You may update available profile settings and manage browser cookies. Some requests may be limited where retention is required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, payment, or dispute purposes. Closing an account does not automatically erase records we must lawfully retain.

8. Children

Where a user is a child under applicable law, a parent or lawful guardian must provide any required consent and supervise use. We do not knowingly use children’s data for targeted advertising or profiling that is likely to cause harm.

9. Cookies and Updates

See our Cookie Policy for details about browser technologies. We may update this Policy when our services or legal requirements change. Material changes will be communicated through the website or another appropriate channel.

10. Contact

For privacy requests or grievances, use the signed-in Support page or the official contact channel published on this website. Please do not send passwords, OTPs, PINs, or complete payment credentials.
